Incomprehensible Blathering

The shallow stream is easily crossed. The shallow mind, even more so.

Two weeks but no counting.

Wow! It's been two weeks since I put virtual pen to paper here. It just goes to show that time flies when you're insanely busy beyond all reason.

The bad news:

1: A certain AD&D player has returned. This person's presence is bordering on intolerable. Hopefully it will either get better soon or they will be asked to leave.
2: Certain pieces of my mail continues to be forwarded inappropriately. - A call to the post office has helped this situation. I'm not sure what it will take to fully correct it.
3: I found some of my things placed in garbage bags along with garbage. I was not happy and still have several bags to dig through to find out what else was slated for the landfill.

The good news:

1: The DM is feeling considerably better. He was actually back in classes last week and appears to be out of danger, unless someone pummels him, etc.
2: The DM's GF is moved in and doing well. She seems to be better than when she was still living at the dorms. Go figure.
3: Another roommate has moved in and is also doing well.
4: A third roommate is lined up for summer, etc. Considering how nice the lined up roommate is, I think it's a good thing all in all.
5: My uncle made it to the last AD&D session. I'm hoping this will be a regular occurrence.
6: The house is mine. (Actually, it's the banks, but the name on the title is mine. :-) )
7: The garage is to the point where two cars can park therein. This consumed a great deal of my time because of the piles of stuff that were there. A few things remain, but most of it has been sorted and put away.
8: I found my sai along with other assorted weaponry.
9: CAT5e network wiring seems to be working fairly well.
10: I found a used Soul Caliber II for the PS/2.
11: While sorting stuff, I found some old pictures which brought back some good memories. (I don't know if you still read this, auraveda, but they were of you.)
12: Most of my incorrectly forwarded mail was dropped off today.
13: It's spring break.
14: Yesterday was the first day of spring.
15: I'm alive and in relatively good health.
16: DDR in the basement.

So as you can see, the good news out weighs the bad news at least 5 to 1. That's pretty good! I like this game. I'll have to try again. Maybe I can get it up to 6 to 1 or even better. :-p Yeah, I left some stuff out on both sides, but still, it looks good from where I'm standing. I hope it's going equally well if not better on your side.
