Life events

I seem to have had a few the last few days. A close friend of mine collapses and is rushed to the hospital. It's discovered that he is ill, but should be okay and is sent home. Two days later, he goes back in but this time is plopped in ICU where he stays for a day and a night. He's still in the hospital but seems to be recovering. In the same time frame, I have an opportunity to talk with his girlfriend and find myself liking her even more than I had before. Assuming all goes well at the closing, I should have a new room mate shortly. :) I just need to run that CAT5e, which shouldn't be too bad considering what I have to work with here.

In other news, I have a nice but used couch and a matching new love seat. Both have reclining seats and other than the prospect of moving them in future due to shear weight, I think it is awesome. I seem to be getting back to "normal" here, what ever the hell that is.
